Course Objective

The aim of this course it provide students an understanding of basic concepts of research methodology. The course also provides knowledge on making scientific research as a problem solving tool.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Understand and apply a range of research methods and techniques.
2   2. Define the problem statement, ask the valid research questions, and conduct a literature review on the research topic.
3   3. Design data collection methods and measurement instruments.
4   4. Understand appropriate techniques used to analyze data.
5   5. Write and discuss research proposal to address particular research question.

Examination: The examination will be used to assess students' ability to understand, explain and interpret what they have learned in the course.

Assignments: Assignments will be used to assess students' ability to understand, explain and interpret topic related to research methods.

Participation and attendance: Participation in class discussions and attendance at lectures can be used to assess students' engagement with the course material and their ability to contribute to class discussions.

Project and presentation: Students are asked to develop a research proposal a specific business topic and present their projects.
