Course Objective

It aims to teach about the armies of the civilizations that shaped history in the ancient period and the wars in which the armies participated.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to think independently and demonstrate this.
2   Study the military organization of Ancient Greek and Roman civilizations.
3   Learning about military strategies in ancient Greek and Rome.
4   Understanding the wars in ancient Greek and Rome and their consequences.
5   Understanding the defenses and sieges in ancient GreeK and Rome.
6   Studying war engineering in ancient GreeK and Rome.
