Course Objective

Audience of the course is undergraduate student in the 3th semester. An introduction to optics is aimed.

1   Being able to understand the basic principles of optics.
2   To gain information about the working principle of different optic imaging systems, lasers.
3   To gain background in fiber optics.
4   To learn about holography and its applications.
5   To learn about optical properties of materials.
