Course Objective

To introduce the concepts of religion and ethics and to teach basic religious knowledge according to Islam.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Describe and evaluates the concepts Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge. 2   Explain the basic sources of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Quran and Sunna 3   Try to strive relation between Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge. 4   Teach the subjects that must must be considered in the process of teaching Religious Culture and Moral Knowledg 5   Try to teach how to teach Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge with examples.

Mohammed 5 The concept of faith and the conditions of faith in Islam (Allah, Angels, Books, Prophets, Hereafter, Faith and Faith in Faith) 6 The concept of faith and the conditions of faith in Islam (Allah, Angels, Books, Prophets, Hereafter, Faith and Faith in Faith) 7 Basic principles of Muslims 8 General review, course evaluation, midterm exam 9 Worship: the concept of worship 10 Cleaning in Islam (culture cleanliness, environmental cleanliness and body cleansing), ablution and taymim worship and cleanliness aspects; general introduction to prayer, fasting, zakat and pilgrimage 11 Religious culture-moral concepts; Islamic morality and the principles of Islamic morality about the individual and society (Haramlar ve Helaller, Family Life, Social and Political Life) 12 Religious culture-moral concepts; Islamic morality and the principles of Islamic morality about the individual and society (Haramlar ve Helaller, Family Life, Social and Political Life) 13 Psychological Effects of Prayer and Duan 14 Fundamental values and teaching of Islamic life 15 Final exam
