Course Objective

To introduce the concepts of religion and ethics and to teach basic religious knowledge according to Islam.

1   Describe and evaluates the concepts Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge.
2   Explain the basic sources of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Quran and Sunna
3   Try to strive relation between Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge.
4   Teach the subjects that must must be considered in the process of teaching Religious Culture and Moral Knowledg
5   Try to teach how to teach Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge with examples.

7 Basic principles of Muslims
8 General review, course evaluation, midterm exam
9 Worship: the concept of worship
10 Cleaning in Islam (culture cleanliness, environmental cleanliness and body cleansing), ablution and taymim worship and cleanliness aspects; general introduction to prayer, fasting, zakat and pilgrimage
11 Religious culture-moral concepts; Islamic morality and the principles of Islamic morality about the individual and society (Haramlar ve Helaller, Family Life, Social and Political Life)
