Course Objective

Being able to work with the choir to obtain a soft, round, homogeneous sound, performing Turkish Art Music pieces. Singing Turkish Art Music pieces in a choir.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Work on obtaining a soft, homogeneous sound together with the choir. 2   Uses the voice while paying attention to intonation. 3   Generates homogenous sound that blends with the other voices in the choir. 4   Knows Turkish Art Music pieces. 5   Performes Turkish Art Music pieces in accordance with the usul and maqam of the piece. 6   Has knowledge abput poolyphony of Turkish Art Music.
