Course Objective

To ensure that the prospective teacher's students reach a certain level of technical skill and gain musical playing skills.

1   Demonstrates and practices the correct position of the clarinet.
2   Demonstrates and practices breathing techniques.
3   Explains and demonstrates finger positions.
4   Demonstrates and practices all scales and technical studies.
5   Recognizes and practices working methods.
6   Has command of clarinet work, technique, etude, and piece repertoire.
7   Recognizes and practices listening to clarinet artists that he can show as examples.
