Course Objective

Developing basic piano techniques and working methods on the piano; performing repertoire pieces.

5 Scale and arpeggio studies

8 Midterm Exam
9 Musical and formal analysis of the pieces
10 Studying a Romantic period piece
11 Etude and technical studies
12 Studying a Contemporary period piece

14 Performing all the pieces in their original tempo
