Course Objective

To enable students to reach a certain level in technical terms and to provide students with the ability to play musicals

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   His tone develops and he plays brightly.
2   He plays the scales he has learned fluently and with nuance.
3   Tongue technique develops, uses different articulations.
4   He plays a piece with piano accompaniment in concerto form.
5   Finger technique improves, plays fast passages.
6   Plays the scale, tierce and arpeggio of five-flat and sharp scales and etudes related to these scales

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Playing position control, tone study.
2 Repetition of major and minor scales learned so far, breathwork.
3 Study of five-flat and five-sharp scales
4 Etude work.
5 Playing etudes to support five-flat and five-sharp scales.
6 Study of the nuances and articulations of etudes
7 Midterm Exam
8 Scale and finger exercises
9 Emphasis on the musical expressions of a sonata with piano accompaniment.
10 Etude studies
11 Study of the musicality of a slow piece
12 Reinforcement of learned scales
13 Repetition of learned scales, etudes and work.
14 General repetition.
15 Final exam

Scale: 5 flat and 5 sharp scales as well as scales, tierce, arpeggios of scales
