Course Objective

This course aims to reinforce the techniques, knowledge and skills gained in previous courses with permanent and transitional studies in a new position and to teach a new bow technique.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to do different finger drop and acceleration exercises in learned positions,
2   To be able to play permanently and transitionally in a new position,
3   To be able to play the violin transitionally in a way that covers all learned positions
4   To be able to understand the spicato bow technique and apply it in combination with previously learned bow techniques
5   To be able to perform national and universal qualified works that include all learned bow techniques and positions
6   To be able to evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired regarding violin playing with a critical approach
7   To be able to plan creative activities appropriate to the level regarding violin playing
8   To be willing to learn new topics regarding violin playing and to be motivated to improve oneself

4 5th position transition exercises, basic spikato bow technique exercises
5 Performing permanent exercises in 5th position, studying related etudes and works, spikato bow technique exercises
6 5th position permanent exercises, studying related studies and pieces, spikato bow technique studies
7 5th position permanent exercises, studying related studies and pieces, spikato bow technique studies

9 1- 2nd -3rd -4th 5th positions transitional studies
