Course Objective

This course aims to help students get to know the violin and its elements and to learn basic beginner-level knowledge and skills regarding playing the violin.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to take the appropriate stance to play the violin
2   Ability to understand and apply basic bow techniques (Detache, legato)
3   Ability to drop the left hand fingers correctly to the relevant sounds on the keyboard
4   Ability to use the right and left hands in coordination
5   Ability to perform small-scale national and universal pieces appropriate to one's level
6   Ability to critically evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired regarding violin playing
7   Ability to plan creative activities appropriate to one's level regarding violin playing
8   Ability to be willing to learn new topics regarding violin playing and to be motivated to improve oneself
