Course Objective

To be able to gain the knowledge and skills which necessary for analyzing the theoretical structure of music, to gain tonal hearing, to write dictation by listening on the piano and gain the skills on sightreading.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains the basic knowledge about music and uses on musical hearing, reading and writing studies.
2   Gains tonal hearing.
3   Writes the pitches on notation by listening on the piano.
4   Determines the time signature on a listening melody.
5   Reads the tonal solfege pieces.
