Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable individuals to express themselves in a group environment, to learn the group counseling process by experiencing it and to enable counselor candidates to gain group leadership skills.

1   Understands the structure and functioning of group counseling.
2   Makes sense by experiencing the stages of group counseling.
3   Defines and applies the skills used in the group process.
4   Apply the group leadership role in line with ethical principles.
5   Evaluates group counseling experience in terms of professional development process.
