Course Objective

The aim of this course is to inform students about the new counselling approaches and
models in terms of basic concepts, human nature, counselling process, the role of the
counsellor and the techniques and methods used.

2   Understand clients' problems within the framework of the new models
3   Explain the necessary skills to help clients
