Course Objective

The aim of this course is for students to understand the scope, principles, theories and applications of psychological counseling and guidance services in schools and different educational institutions

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to explain the scope of school psychological counseling
2   Be able to distinguish the age periods and work areas in which psychological counseling services are provided
3   Comprehend the psychological counseling service, skills, and techniques for recognizing individuals for normal and abnormal development of the individual
4   Be able to integrate psychological counseling and guidance theories and related skills with the professional field, ethical rules and the requirements of national education
