Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop students' skills in creating mathematical models by combining engineering-based mathematical thinking with computer-aided design. Students will be introduced to SolidWorks and learn to model 2D and 3D mathematical structures.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Transfers mathematical concepts to a CAD environment.
2   Uses the basic tools of SolidWorks software.
3   Creates parametric drawings of mathematical models.
4   Designs abstract mathematical models for real-world problems.
5   Gains basic technical drawing and modeling skills.
