Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and techniques for preparing and developing course content, which is one of the most important factors in successful language teaching.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the factors in successful language teaching.
2   Understand the methods of course content development, which is one of these factors.
3   Understand the importance of applying course content development techniques and methods.
4   Understand the transition between practice/theory in course content development.
5   Understand the contributions of course content development methods and techniques to French teaching.

1 The main factors that play a role in foreign language teaching. Applications for selecting authentic documents in developing course content for a foreign language French course: Use of French cartoons in the course (small group studies).

5 Definition and importance of authentic documents. Final Exam
