Course Objective

The aim of this course is to recognise language as a system, to define and classify its units; to determine the form and functions of the word in the dictionary, form and sentence level.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define and explain the basic concepts of the German grammar.
2   Understand the system of the German language and he/she can establish a connection between the components of the system.
3   Analyse the language.
4   Identify the forms within the German language and classify their functions.
5   Distinguish the grammatical categories and point out examples.

The success of the student is determined by the grade to be obtained from the midterm and final exams of the course. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
