Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine simple and complex language structures in German; to teach the rules of structure in sentence syntax; to acquire knowledge and skills about the relationship between vocabulary and language structures; to reinforce what is taught with exercises.

1   Define the basic terms of German grammar.
2   Analyse simple and complex language structures in German.
3   Recognize and explain the structures and syntax rules in German.
4   Connect between the vocabulary and language structures.
5   Apply the learned rules in various contexts.

The success of the student is determined by the grade to be obtained from the midterm and final exams of the course. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
