Course Objective

The aim of this course is explain the political, cultural and social structure of the cultures and civilizations in the Middle Ages both in Europe and Asia and their interactions with each other.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the concept of medium age. 2   Explain the socio-economic and cultural structure of Europe in the Middle Ages. 3   The scientific and cultural relation between the Islamic world and Europe in the Middle Ages. 4   Explains the socio-economic and cultural structure of Asia in the Middle Ages. 5   The characteristics of Western and Eastern cultures in the Middle Ages and the influence of both cultures.
