Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students summarize the general lines of the lives of non-muslim communities in the Ottoman society

1   Summarize the general lines of the structure of Ottoman society.
2   Evaluate the relationships between Muslims and no-muslims in the Ottoman society.
3   Analyze the relationships between Muslims and non-muslims in the Ottoman society.
4   Explain the relationships between the state and non-muslim communities at the last period of the empire.
