Course Objective

The aim of this course is for students to recognize and analyze the basic sources related to the History of the Republic of Türkiye.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognize the basic written sources related with History of Turkish Republic.
2   Analyze the basic concepts (national sovereignity, Republic, Complete independence) related with History of Turkish Republic.
3   Evaluate the emergence of the discipline of History of Republic.
4   Summarize Turkish Historical Thesis and Critiques.
5   Gain critical approaches towards the History of Turkish Republic.
