Course Objective

The aim of this course is to create history teacher candidates' awareness of local history and to inform them about the methods of regional historical studies to be applied.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the concept of Regional History.
2   Write the basic resources of Regional History.
3   Summarize the stages of urban life of Anatolia in different historical periods.
4   Analyze the effects of modernization on urban life.
5   Implement an inquiry related with Regional History.
