Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students summarize the general lines of Central Asian Turkish History and evaluate the earlier periods of Turks.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Summarize the general lines of Central Asian Turkish History.
2   Evaluate the Central Asian History of Turks.
3   Explain the political history of Turkish states established in Central Asia.
4   Analyze social, political, religious and economic life of Turks lived in Central Asia.
5   Analyze the cultural features of Turkish societies in pre-islamic period.
