Course Objective

Learning the basic features of Turkey's population and understand the importance of knowing the properties of the population of one place in terms of sustainable development planning.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the concept of Economic Geography of Turkey
2   Analyze the development of Turkey's Economic Geography.
3   Learn the main topics on Turkey's Economic Geography (Agriculture, Industry, Transportation, Commerce, and Tourism).
4   Interpret very well the relationship between the natural environment and social and economic properties in terms of sustainable development and may serve effective proposal in given area.
5   Evaluate the policies of Turkey's economical activities and take the responsibility to find solutions in problems.
