This course will enable participants to gain a full understanding of how young learners learn foreign languages; teaching listening, teaching speaking, teaching reading, teaching writing, teaching vocabulary, teaching grammar; learning styles and strategies; classroom management; topic-based lesson planning; materials evaluation and adaptation; assessm

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Develop the special skills required to properly instruct children
2   Develop strategies for responding to different learner needs.
3   Establish the conditions which support young learners language learning- the creation of positive teacher- young learner relationships and the effective organization of groups
4   Prepare foreign language lesson plans using drama, songs, stories and games
5   Use teaching resources effectively
