Course Objective

The aim of this course is to identify gifted students, especially in the field of mathematics, to provide information about their characteristics, models and approaches to teaching processes, and to gain knowledge and skills for some teaching practices.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gaining information about the characteristics and diagnosis of gifted students.
2   Obtaining information about the characteristics and identification of gifted students in mathematics (mathematically gifted).
3   Recognizing teaching models and approaches for gifted students in mathematics.
4   Gaining knowledge about teaching practices for gifted students in mathematics.
5   Preparing teaching practices for gifted students in mathematics.
