Course Objective

The aim of course is to teach the physical and chemical properties, usage areas and synthesis of polymers that have an important place in our daily life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the importance of polymers in daily life.
2   To be able to explain the physical and chemical properties of polymers.
3   To be able to write the mechanisms of polymerization reactions,
4   To be able to calculate the average molecular weight and distribution of polymers
5   To be able to explain the usage areas of polymers in industry.
