Course Objective

Examining current teaching methods and approaches in physics teaching, teaching physics by developing and applying alternative teaching materials.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define learning theories and approaches in the field of physics
2   To be able to define teaching principles in physics education
3   To be able to understand commonly used teaching methods in physics education
4   To be able to understand alternative learning and teaching approaches in physics education
5   To be able to design activities that include general and special teaching methods seen throughout the term in different subjects of physics
