Course Objective

The objective of the course is to learn advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy resources, discussing energy potential and its availability in Türkiye and the world.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define the fundamentals and main characteristics of renewable energy sources.
2   To comprehend the energy production, energy conversion and more efficient use of energy resources.
3   To comprehend the storage and use of renewable energy.
4   To discuss the impact of renewable energy sources on nature.
5   The student decides which of the renewable energy sources should be preferred under the conditions found.
