Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop the competencies of prospective physics teachers in designing and implementing Arduino-based activities for teaching physics concepts. Participants will design original experiments and STEM activities that involve the measurement of physical phenomena using sensors and microcontroller technologies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identify the fundamental hardware and software components of the Arduino platform.
2   Write code using the basic structures of the Arduino programming language.
3   Explain and utilize sensors used in the measurement of physical quantities (velocity, acceleration, temperature, pressure, etc.).
4   Design Arduino-based experimental setups for physics topics.
5   Analyze data measured by Arduino, generate graphs, and interpret them physically.
