Course Objective

To equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills related to children's songs, and to enhance their musical expression, interpretation, and competence in making music with children.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Explain basic musical knowledge related to children's songs.
2   2. Recognize the repertoire of Turkish school songs and educational children's songs.
3   3. Perform basic practices related to managing a children's music ensemble.
4   4. Evaluate criteria such as age group, developmental level, and educational objectives when selecting songs.
