Course Objective

Positive education is challenging the traditional educational paradigm worldwide; it aims to promote well-being and happiness in a holistic perspective in the classroom and beyond, providing young people with knowledge and life skills to flourish in their present and future life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Designs programs based on Positive Education that integrate academic knowledge with the development of character strengths and well-being.
2   Uses mindfulness practices to train the mind, focus attention, relax, and develop self-awareness.
3   Gains positive knowledge and life skills from a holistic perspective of the classroom to support lifelong development.
4   Comprehends the core theories of Positive Psychology and relevant international literature.
5   Analyzes the impact of positive education practices on student-teacher relationships and classroom climate.
