Course Objective

The aim is to provide students with the ability to think analytically and produce solutions by teaching the basic subjects of mathematics. The aim is to establish and solve real problems related to finance, life and social sciences in mathematics and to provide experience.

3   To be able to understand limit, continuity concepts, marginal analysis in business and economics

2 Linear regression: Finding the function that provides useful information for a data set
3 Functions, graphs, and transformations: Cost, Price-Demand, Income, and Profit Functions
4 Growth and Decrease applications: Exponential and Logarithmic functions
5 Limit, Continuity, and applications: Business experience, Energy prices, Costs of cleaning water resources
6 Derivative and its properties: Mathematics of change
7 Differential, Measurement
8 Midterm
9 Marginal (instantaneous) analysis in business and economics
10 Derivative rules, Chain rule Applications: Depreciation and resale value
11 Relative rates, Elasticity of demand
12 L Hospital rule
13 Graphing, Extreme points
14 Optimization, Economics Applications
