Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the influence of culture on education and the role of education within cultural structures; and to develop students' ability to analyze educational processes in different cultural contexts.

1   Define and explain the concepts of culture and education.
2   Analyze how educational systems interact with cultural structures.
3   Compare the cultural foundations of educational approaches in different societies.
4   Evaluate the impact of cultural diversity on educational settings.
5   Develop cultural sensitivity and multicultural approaches in education.
