Course Objective

The course objective is to develop teacher candidates' sense of social sensitivity, social responsibility, and solidarity, along with self-confidence, self-evaluation, and communication skills through various activities and social responsibility projects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the concepts of society, community service practices, and social responsibility.
2   Can determine current problems of society.
3   Can produce projects to solve social problems..
4   Actively participates in various activities within the framework of community service practices.
5   Can evaluate the results of the social responsibility project in which he/she participated.

Course Contents

1 Providing information about the purpose of the course, general principles, expected work, scope of projects, and evaluation criteria of the course.
2 Project advisors determine project groups, project topics, and activities together with teacher candidates.
3 Determining and completing the planning of all activities to be carried out within the scope of the project in coordination with the institution where the activities will be carried out.
