Course Objective

The aim of this course is to analyse the characteristics of mythological figures and the works of authors who use them as models for their works. In addition, the educational and moral approach of the characters and stories reflected in the mythologies will be explained and academic studies will be analysed in this regard.

1   Explain terms such as myth, mythology and mythical
2   Classify scientific and theoretical studies in the field of mythology.
3   Establish a link between education and mythology
4   Acquire a critical and analytical view when reading literary texts
5   Reflect on the pedagogical significance of the mythological elements reflected in the works.

The success of the student is determined by the grade to be obtained from the midterm and final exams of the course. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
