Course Objective

The objective of this course is to furnish prospective teachers with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of economics and economic systems, financial literacy, educational economics, entrepreneurial and entrepreneurship concepts, the various forms of entrepreneurship, the relationship between entrepreneurship and personality, the development of business ideas, renewal and innovation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to have knowledge about basic concept of economic science, and economic systems.
2   Will gain an understanding of tfe fundamental principles of education economics.
3   Will gain knowledge about financial literacy.
4   Will gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of entrepreneurship and the various types of entrepreneurship, as well as the relationship between entrepreneurship and personality.
5   Will have the opportunity to learn about the development of original ideas through entrepreneurship, drawing on examples from both domestic and international contexts.
6   Will be able to distinguish between the process of developing new and innovative business ideas and that of establishing/taking over and managing a business.
7   Will gain insight into the available support structures at both the national and local levels, as well as the DEU DEPARK Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program, which is designed to facilitate the development of innovative business concepts.
