Course Objective

To enable students to comprehend the aims, principles, theoretical foundations and scope of guidance and counseling service and to provide students with the ability to explain guidance service areas, guidance types, individual recognition techniques, guidance organization system.

1   Defines guidance and counseling.
2   Understands the place and importance of guidance services within the scope of student personality services.
3   Explain the aims and principles of guidance.
4   Explain the developmental guidance model.
5   Establishes the relationship between contemporary education and guidance and counseling services.

12 Behavioral problems that may be encountered in schools and the role of guidance in intervention
13 Communication, conflict resolution and teacher-student relations in guidance
14 Organization system in guidance
