Course Objective

To get to know movies and literary works related to education, to gain the knowledge and skills to analyze them and to conduct educational studies on them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the relationship between education and literature
2   To be able to understand the relationship between education and cinema
3   To be able to explain the effects of educational films on students
4   To be able to use literary and cinema works effectively in the education of children
5   To be able to evaluate literary and cinema works in terms of their perspective on education
6   To be able to explain the place and importance of education in society through the relationship between education, literature and cinema.

Evaluation of students is carried out within the framework of learning outcomes, based on their performance in midterms, final exams and homework given during the term. Evaluation forms for assignments are shared with students before the lesson.
