Course Objective

The main purpose of this course is to learn sustainable energy sources and technologies. In this context; It is aimed to obtain information about solar energy, hydraulic energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, marine energy and biomass energies and their technologies, examine their application areas and determine application possibilities.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Having knowledge about sustainable energy sources.
2   Recognizing sustainable energy types.
3   Examining the application areas of sustainable energy types.
4   Understand the impact of sustainable energy types on nature.
5   Ability to decide which of the sustainable energy sources should be preferred under the current conditions.

- The instructor reserves the right to get various exercises done via individual or cooperative learning in the planned education and training period. The effect of the applications to be made in the evaluation process announced to students at the beginning of the academic year.
- Acts within the framework of the relevant regulation regarding unethical behaviours that may occur in classes and exams.
