Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to fundamental statistical concepts and enable them to apply these concepts through the use of SPSS software. Students will gain knowledge about the research process, types of data, descriptive statistics, normal distribution, and parametric and non-parametric tests.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines fundamental statistical concepts.
2   Classifies different data types and determines appropriate methods for analysis.
3   Applies descriptive statistics using SPSS software.
4   Tests whether the data follows a normal distribution.
5   Applies and interprets parametric and non-parametric tests.
