Course Objective

Since they will be in constant contact with public and private institutions and civil people, they learn the right management approaches and organization within the management and organization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the basic concepts of management and organization.
2   Learns basic management functions such as planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and supervising.
3   Have knowledge about organizational charts and create an organizational chart.
4   Describe control types and control relationships.
5   Learns management activities and establishes good relations with managers.
6   Have the ability to plan within the organization.
7   Have management skills within an organization.
8   Learns the establishment purposes, functions and management hierarchy of organizations.

1 Management and manager concepts, brief historical development of management, characteristics, skills and duties of the manager.
2 Leadership and management, leader manager, characteristics of the leader, differences between the leader and the manager, the concept of organization (organization), elements of the organization, types of organizations, management hierarchy in organizations.
3 Decision-making, types of decisions.
4 Definition of plan and planning, differences between, characteristics of planning, stages of planning, types of plans, importance of plan.
5 The general meaning of organization, functions of organizations, organizing activities, organizing process, principles of organization.
6 Organization as a structure, types of division, organization (organization) chart, drawing of organization (organization) charts, types of schemes.
7 Types of schemes, coordination function, definition of coordination, importance, principles of coordination, coordination, techniques, types of coordination.
8 Benefits of coordination, directing function, relationship between orientation and organizational environment, organizational culture, elements of orientation.
9 Midterm exam
10 Audit function, audit (control) concept, audit factors and stages, tools of audit, characteristics of an effective audit (control) process.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecture, reading, active participation in class, discussion. This course will be taught in the form of theoretical lectures in the classroom and applications of theoretical subjects in practical courses. The instructor will create a discussion environment in the form of questions and answers with the students while explaining their subjects and making their applications.

Assessment Criteria

Midterm and final exams will be held to learn the basic concepts given in the presentations meaningfully, to associate the concepts with each other, to establish cause-effect relationships, to comment on the questions or problems using their existing knowledge, and to evaluate the idea generation.
