Course Objective

To gain the ability to understand Russian syntax and to solve the problems encountered in the subject.

3   3. Know the elements of the sentence.
4   4. Know the Russian sentence types
5   5. Explain the basic concepts of generative syntax theory and distinguish syntax at the word, sentence and text levels.
