Course Objective

To create a course content that will open up understanding and discussion of works produced with the interdisiplinary possibilities of contemporary art, which question identity , body and gender

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Establish the relationship between contemporary art and gender theories
2   Examine the relationship of contemporary art with gender through examples
3   Ensure that students produce works that reference body, identity concepts in their productions
4   Increase students' awareness of gender and ensure that they can carry this to their exhibitions
5   Be able to use the art terminology of the fields in question correctly and base their productions

2 Definitions and concept Making the final preparations and exhibitions of the works in the project
3 Theorists of feminist art Students preparing their original works for exhibition with their project explanation texts and presentations files related to the process
4 Pioneers of feminist art

6 students producing works on materials suitable for their projects
7 Discussions and evaluation of the produced works within the scope of the workshop
8 Students continuing their work to complete the applications that will create their own projects with their different technical tools they have determined

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

To convey the historical and theoritical knowledge about the relationship between contemporary art and gender to the students. to show the students competent examples and practices on this subject. In this context , the student should first project their work and carry out an art project in which they also they highlight their artistic skills.
