Course Objective

The aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to analyze women s entrepreneurship and women s labor from the perspective of operations management and sustainability. The course addresses, in practice, how core operational activities such as production, processes, supply, human resources, and quality management in businesses founded or led by women can be designed in a sustainable, fair, and inclusive manner. It also aims to develop strategic management approaches sensitive to women s labor and to foster women s entrepreneurship models.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Explains the role of women s entrepreneurship and women s labor in business management and operational strategies.
2   2. Designs labor-sensitive business processes as well as production and service models.
3   3. Develops supply chain, quality, and human resources management strategies tailored to women s entrepreneurship.
4   4. Analyzes sustainability indicators and environmental/social impacts with a focus on women.
5   5. Evaluates the operational resilience strategies of women entrepreneurs during times of crisis.
6   6. Applies local production models and collaborative entrepreneurship practices based on women s labor.
7   7. Develops and presents their own sustainable business model that prioritizes women s labor.
