Course Objective

Bringing the basic practical skills relating to harp techniques instrument for composition department students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the basic theoretical knowledge of the harp instrument,
2   Demonstrate basic playing, muting, glissando and pedal techniques and percussion effects on the harp,
3   Can apply extended harp techniques on the harp instrument,
4   Performs a simple piece of music written for the harp,
5   Can create original works for solo harp or chamber music groups with the harp.
