Course Objective

This course introduces the foundations of entrepreneurship with a special focus on innovation and global market dynamics. Students will explore entrepreneurial ecosystems across different cultures, study business modeling using the Canvas framework, and gain insight into international business practices and legal frameworks. A significant portion of the course is devoted to practical workshops, case studies, and team-based projects to foster a hands-on learning experience

Assessment Criteria

1- As this is an engaging discussion-based course student should actively participate in class activities.
2- The learner will define the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship giving reference to the main components of entrepreneurship culture.
3- The learner will compare the different entrepreneurship types showing his/her ability to put the knowledge acquired in this field into practical realities of the international business environment

Course Policies and Rules

Although the course is mainly based on lectures, around 20 % of each session is intended for class discussion, based on the lecture itself and assigned readings. Therefore, students are expected to be prepared for class participation at each session.
Attending at least 70 percent of lectures is mandatory.
Plagiarism of any type will result in disciplinary action.
