Course Objective

This course aims to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and practices of research methodology in the context of trade and business. It equips students with the skills to approach business challenges using scientific research methods as tools for problem solving and decision-making.

Assessment Criteria

1. The learner will state the basic terms and concepts related to scientific research.
2. The learner will explain the rationale behind making scientific research by making a literature review, by asking a research question, by collecting and analyzing data and coming to a conclusion.
3. The learner will diagnose the related problem and recommend solutions depending upon the results of the studied issue.
4. The learner will categorize the details regarding data collection and analysis methods.
