Course Objective

Exploring the line and form on a three-dimensional surface through sketches developed on a two-dimensional plane, and reinforcing this through three-dimensional applications.
Developing three-dimensional perception and interpretation skills.
Addressing the evaluation of form and shape through three-dimensional application projects.
Examining and evaluating design and design elements comparably in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional planes.
Developing conceptual, analytical, and creative thinking skills through projects and discussions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the fundamental concepts of three-dimensional art
2   Gaining skills related to creating three-dimensional designs from both artistic and technical perspectives
3   Acquiring knowledge about how different materials can be used in three- dimensional shaping
4   Developing the ability to create volume and form
5   Gaining the ability to manage the process that includes planning, model-making, and transferring a three-dimensional design to its final form

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Introduction to the Three-Dimensional Forming Course and sharing the material list. Development of color and tone sketches for the application project.
2 Seminar on the Fundamental Concepts of Three- Dimensional Art and details of the application project. Transferring the application project to the original project.
3 Introduction to Basic Polyhedral Forms and 13. Finalization of the practical application. Finalization of the original application project and general evaluation.
4 What is Relief Seminar and information about the application project. General course evaluation and information on grading.
5 Unit designs for relief application based on unit repetition.
6 Composition designs for relief application based on unit repetition.
7 Finalization of the relief application based on unit repetition and general evaluation.
8 Seminar on Composition Principles in Three- Dimensional Design.
9 Seminar on Texture Elements and the Principle of Rhythm in Three Dimensional Design. information about the application project.
10 Sketching phase for the application project.

The course is conducted through the production of visual presentations based on weekly schedules and practice projects that are planned in accordance with the course learning outcomes, carried out in the studio under the guidance of the course instructors.
