Course Objective

The aim of this course is to help students deeply understand the relationship between art and style by integrating different art disciplines and theoretical approaches, and to develop critical, interdisciplinary thinking skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define and understand the relationship between art and style.
2   Develop an interdisciplinary perspective to understand how style differs, as well as its similarities and differences, across different art disciplines.
3   Evaluate art works in depth in terms of style, form, content, and context.
4   Discover how art has evolved within its historical context and how style has transformed over time.
5   Analyze how art is interpreted in social, cultural, and individual contexts and how style is shaped within these contexts.
